Curcumin has a lot of positive potential effects on living beings. It is naturally extracted and has both antimutagenic and anti-microbial effects. In this project, it has been shown that curcumin extracted from turmeric was used to revive mutated plant cells and also to stop the antimicrobial growth of Escherichia coli (E. coli). This could be used in the future as organic medicines. Silver nanoparticles range from 1 to 100 nm in size and its unique properties aid in molecular diagnostics and in various medical processes. Silver nanoparticles are synthesized via chemical and physical methods but they are expensive and may also possess chemicals alongside. So, biological isolation is much more feasible and they involve bacteria, fungi, and plants. Its antimicrobial property is explored mainly but its drawback is nanotoxicity. This review provides a comprehensive view of the mechanism of action, production, applications on Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori). The objective is to combine nanotechnology with familiar plant species and to obtain and exploit the silver nanoparticles from the same. These findings can be a breakthrough in creating products that will serve as an easily-available, cost-effective, nature-friendly replacement of antimicrobial chemicals.
